Introduction

Meet Jessica, Senior Manager of Business Process Transformation at CTFSI. With a decade of experience across various financial services functions, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for innovation to the team. Her journey includes roles in securities derivatives operations, business architecture and design, and treasury data management. Jessica’s focus at CTFSI is on model-driven application development and workflow design, specifically in Predictive Exception Processing (aka our PEP platform). Let’s dive deeper into her professional path, motivations, and what excites her about the future at CTFSI.

Professional Path

What was your professional experience prior to coming to work for/with CTFSI?

I had been working in financial services for a decade across multiple functions – securities derivatives operations, business architecture and design services, and treasury data management. I have worked in very client-facing roles, very back-office roles, project-based roles, and line roles. I also completed an M.S. in Business Analytics prior to coming to CTFSI.

Motivation and Interest

What got you interested in working with CTFSI?

The people – such an inspiring, creative, motivated group to work with, some of whom I’ve been lucky to work with before CTFSI. What also got me interested was the focus on product development and crossing the bridge from theory and concept to actual application. CTFSI has the right people to make this happen.

Current Focus

What is your current focus at CTFSI?

Model-driven application development and workflow orchestration design, specifically Predictive Exception Processing.

Excitement and Engagement

What gets you most excited about CTFSI and the markets we are in?

The appetite for change and adoption. Financial services can be slow-moving with change due to scale, but the expanding appetite for AI-supported operations and the dependence on it for scalability means that CTFSI can help institutions either venture into this space for the first time or support existing efforts to integrate human-in-the-middle AI.

What is special about what we are doing or how we are doing it?

Everyone at CTFSI brings our varied career experiences, most with deep backgrounds in financial services, to deliver results we wish we could have seen in earlier years and roles. We approach challenges with open minds and creativity, and we truly want to hear what our clients have to say because we understand the pain points and challenges very well from our own experience. This puts us in a strong position to design solutions that exactly meet their needs.

Fun Fact – Music Interests

What is your favorite music track from the last 6 months?

Tie between The Black Dog, by Taylor Swift, from her new TTPD album. On repeat because the chorus is so good, and I can’t get it out of my head. Also, the song Austin, by Dasha, on repeat because it sounds like summer (as country music does), and I recently learned the steps to the viral line dance.
